This small unkempt cemetery is situated on Route 23 near Ashland, New York in Greene County. It is associated with the OLDEST ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH in the Catskills (St. Joseph's Chapel), which is no longer in use.

There is a very interesting clover shaped grave marker right in the front of this cemetery. If you peek in the church windows, you will see icons and statues left from the days it was used as a Roman Catholic Church and Shrine to "Our Lady of Fatima". There is not really a parking area, but there is sufficient area along the same side of the road as the church and cemetery to pull over. (I put my flashers on while parked there). Cement steps and railing lead up to the church. There is a wonderful old stone wall around the church and cemetery. I think there are about fifty gravesites here.
