This is a Project Marker for BLM Project 5.188 Whitney Cattle Guard & Fences. While the markings Sec 24 T14S R68E 1999 make it appear to be a section corner the legend distinctly states "Not a Survey Corner".

This Project Marker is located at the southeast corner of the Interstate 80 Exit 100 interchange, 2 feet southeast of the southeast ROW fence line, approximately 20 feet northeast of the northeast end of a cattleguard. The disk is mounted on a 2-inch steel pipe about 12 inches above grade.
