Within the gates and arches are numerous office buildings and this, being one of two entrances to the buildings, can be locked down to prevent access. On the day the photograph was taken the entrance was completely locked down as the paving was being replaced within the courtyard.

There are two arches and both are constructed from Portland stone. The arches are for pedestrian access and each arch has a gate within it. The arches stand about three metres (ten feet) tall and each has two finials on top that add about another metre to the height.

Between the two arches are a pair of wrought iron gates that ay be opened to allow service vehicles on to the site.
Type: Gateway
