The WILLIAM MARKS HOUSE (private) is a two-story red brick, well preserved, with an archaic little lantern over the doorway. Marks was president of the Nauvoo Stake of Zion. - Nauvoo Guide, pg.43.

The house appears to be in good condition and continues to serve as a private residence.
