The First Baptist Church was built in 1910 is located just off the Carthage Courthouse Square historic district. The light colored brick building is two stories tall with a multi-sided cupola on the top. The main entrance has four columns and a pedimented gabled end. The church appears to be in very good condition and continues to serve its active congregation.
