Obelisk located along the border between Maine and Quebec. This is one of a series of border markings that delineated the border between Canada and the US in the Treaty of Washington. Albert Smith from the US and I.B.B. Estcourt from Canada are identified on the obelisk, as are "Treaty of Washington" and "Boundary August 9th 1842".
