On the Lincoln Highway that went through Ligonier was the Blazed Trail Garage. It was owned by Charles "Jinx" and Lucy Winebrenner. The wrecker they owned was the largest one in the area. It is said the big door was always open and Jinx was always in there. Mrs.Winebrenner told that there were more fish caught on that bench outside the building than on any lake around!
The Lunch Car, attached to the garage was owned by William & Elizabeth Fukis for 23 years.
