As you drive down Joe Overstreet Road, look in the pastures for whooping cranes, sandhill cranes, and turkeys. Check out the fenceposts for meadowlarks, crested caracaras, and bald eagles. Every sort of waterfowl and wading bird can be seen in the littoral areas of Lake Kissimmee.
