When this town built itself around its elevators, it almost missed, as this, the last one remaining, is half a mile out of town.
This old Sask. Pool Elevator in Abbey is a chronological hodgepodge of buildings. The elevator was built in 1974 as a replacement elevator, while its annexes substantially predate it, one having been built in 1957, the other in 1958.
