There are two cruise ports in Copenhagen, one for ships starting or ending a cruise, Freeport Terminal, and the other for ships making a port of call, Langelinie Pier. Don't confuse the two!

If you are starting or ending a cruise in Copenhagen you are likely to begin or end your journey at this out-of-the-way Freeport Terminal facility. Ships making a port of call will most likely dock at the touristy Langelinie Pier within easy walking distance of the famous Little Mermaid Statue.
The Freeport Terminal is in a highly developed commercial and industrial area. It is not within walking distance from the major attractions of Copenhagen, so transportation is required. Most will simply take a taxi to and from this port. The closest train station is the Nordhavn stop on the S-Tog. From here you must navigate quite a distance, over a mile, to reach the cruise ship dock.
The dock itself is quite sparse. There are few amenities. It's only a location for immediately boarding your ship on the outbound leg, or to take transportation into the city at the end of your cruise.
