This relief sculpture shows Pegasus one of the best known Greek mythological creatures. It used to be at the entrance to a building in Temple that was demolished and was moved to this location in 1992.

The sculpture is carved into a light coloured stone. It shows Pegasus in-flight with both wings extended upwards. Pegasus is facing to the left and the front legs are higher then the hind legs as if jumping.
