The only steel coaster at Holiday World is the Howler, a family coaster located in Holidog Fun Town section of the park. The coaster took the place of The Firecracker coaster that former stood in the same area of the park. It opened in 1999 in a redesign of this section of Holiday Word into a children's play area.

The coaster does 2 loops around the track before changing riders out.
