The current church, designed by architect John Semple, was built in 1827. There are three stained glass windows: one of them was painted by Joshua Clarke, it is titled He is Risen and it was placed in memory of locals fallen in WW I. The other is themed on Revelation 14:13 verse "I heard a voice from heaven" and the newest one (from 1998) shows a scene from the Apocrypha book of Tobit, where archangel Raphael gives Tobit a fish to cure Tobit's father from blindness.
The church is closed except for the services. If you meet a caretaker there, he will gladly show you around and unlock the church for you. See the
parish website for service hours and contact information.
