With fishing boats close by you can see why the family chose to place this bench, dedicated to John (Jack) Myers in this location. There is a pier and boat launch close by and there are pens for mussels located throughout the bay.
If you are going for a walk, this is a great place to to start a stroll along Covehead Bay. A standard ocatgonal gazebo is found at this end of the walk. You will find many benches along the way to stop and the paved path with grassed sides makes for easy terrain.
The bench is of wood construction and is comfortable. Golfers can be watched nearby as well as a few boats from the nearby pier.
