"Central" is the most prestigious chain of department stores in Thailand—or at least the most expensive. There is one or more in most of major cities of Thailand. In the northern Thai city there is one such near the city centre, and in front of the mall is a colourful and attractive fountain. The fountain consists of circles of water jets, which shoot a varied pattern of colourful water jets upwards into the air.
