Found in the center of Bunning Park (tree cover makes GPSr reception difficult), this Viquesney's Spirit of the Doughboy Statue stands tall and proud. At the base are the names of Sweetwater County residents who died in World War 1.

Male soldier from World War I striding forward. Proper left foot is forward. Proper right arm is raised and holds a grenade in closed hand. Soldier wears military fatigues, boots, gators, brimmed helmet with chin strap, and cartridge belt around his waist. Soldier wears a back-pack on his back and canteen on his proper right hip. Solider is stepping over a curl of barbed wire wrapped around a small tree trunk.
