Adjacent to the City Pillar Shrine of the northern Thai provincial capital of Udon Thani is a Buddhist shrine with a Buddha image that is the oldest in the province. Before this shrine is a bell. This is a standard Thai Buddhist temple bell. There to be rung by worshippers as they come by to pay their respects. Entry is free, but as always, a small donation is the thing to do as you swing by.
