In Boston's North End, within Langone Park, are three bocce ball courts.
The park is located on the far northern end of the peninsula, a little east of the intersection of North Washington Street, Causeway Street, and Commercial Street.
The three rinks are side by side, located roughly in the center of the park. Each is lined with blocks of stone and has a clay playing area. Strips of cobblestone walkways separate the rinks. There are colored marks near the ends. Benches are located all around for people to watch the events. At the time of the visit, which was a weekday morning, so there was no activity there. But, since the North End is the traditional location of the Italian neighborhood of Boston, I'm sure when there is a game (or tournament), there are lots of people playing and cheering!
