Well I'm always looking for unique waymarks to find and to publish, so as we were going home from our vacation, my eyes were diverted at this station as I was driving quickly by. I slammed on the brakes and just about put the car in the ditch, but I backed up and was amazed at this vintage gas station. I got out and grabbed a few pics and went in and spoke with the owner. He said he'd been here since 2004, but always wanted to have a place that reminded him of when he was young "the simpler days" as he recalled them. I looked around and everything was vintage and working. Quite incredible in fact, I've got to give him credit he put a ton of work into it, but I really felt transported back to the "good ole days". So if you're in Cedar Springs and want to jump into the time machine, stop in here and have a chat with Richard, warning though, you may be there for a while.
