A small simple but locally significant war memorial erected by the community of Port Aux Basques for its contributions and loss to the efforts of the World Wars.

On site are two granite stones commemorating the contributions and remembering of soldiers from the community who served in the world wars.
On the front of the two stones: "Lest We Forget" followed by the list of men.
Also on site, is a memorial in remembrance of the S.S. Caribou that was sunken by enemy submarine. This has been documented on waymarking.com as S.S. Caribou - Port Aux Basques, Newfoundland.
