This is one of the least popular beaches around the village of Vila Nova de Milfontes. Perhaps because you can't walk there from the village: you either will have to drive, crossing the bridge over the Mira, or you'll have to take the small boat crossing the river. Besides, the waters here are a bit tricky. They look calm and harmless, but then after a couple of steps it becomes deep and the current is strong.
It's a river beach, a couple hundred meters from the open sea. There is a bar restaurant there, which sometimes is just closed. I mean, when out of the season. Easy parking around. Coordinates provided are from the best parking location.
