This is an old historical windmill. It is located at the so-called 'Am Wall' in Bremen, Germany. it is listed on the website of the city of Bremen as an official tourist attraction.
The Windmill am Wall is the last surviving windmill of eight that were built on the walls surrounding the inner city area in the 17th and 18th century. It burnt down completely on two occasions, once in 1832 and again in 1898, but it was rebuilt each time. Flour was milled here until 1950, but today there's a cafe inside.
The original mill was built by Moritz Meier in 1699.
