"Elmhurst Branch houses several special collections, including a Black History Collection begun in 1974 and a Religion Collection begun in 1981. The Reference Collection is a general collection designed to meet the needs of the community. Elmhurst also has a popular children's section and Parenting collection.
The branch is equipped with eight (8) computers with internet access for public use, and Kurzweil 3000, a scanning, reading, and writing solution for people with learning disabilities, reading difficulties, or low vision." (
