A tribute to the workers at the airport. Now, they wear protective earmuffs for sound. This is in the newly dedicated Terminal B. Ground floor.

This pair of murals are on the ground floor of Terminal B which is the baggage area. It is monochromatic in tone, made of extended birch wood chips. As if one were poking crackers into a clay wall. Only this wall is stone. It consists of 8,000 pieces that protrude from the wall.
"The Baggage Handlers" depicts images of about three figures on each mural. It is by a German artist, Christian Moeller, a professor of design and media arts at UCLA.
For $10. one may ride the airport shuttle.
