Most people are so confused by the large, red rabbit, that they miss the rest of the story. He is diving into an Alice in Wonderland type hole that is the top of the suitcase.

This is on the first/ ground floor of the Sacramento International Airport -- Terminal B. It is part of the Art in Public Places.
$6 million, yes, that much was spent on the art in the new terminal.
Some of it is accessible in the pre security building. Some of it is viewed only by ticketed passengers in the post security area.
The rabbit is named "Leap" -- a leap of faith to fly?
The artist is Lawrence Argent of Denver. It incorporates the concept of flight, speed, and nature.
The top of the suitcase is a vortex, the kind one might drop coins into. It is steps from the volunteer staffed information desk.
Saw folks leaning against the suitcase and making calls.
