Casino Royale is the twenty-first film in the James Bond film series and the first to star Daniel Craig as fictional MI6 agent James Bond.
The film was primarily shot at Barrandov Studios in Prague (Czech Republic), with additional location shooting in the Bahamas, Italy and the United Kingdom.
About Karlovy Vary
The town of Karlovy Vary is located in the western part of the Czech Republic at the confluence of the rivers Teplá and Ohre (Eger), about 120 km from Prague. It is the largest and most famous spa town in the Czech Republic.
Karlovy Vary - the former Carlsbad - was named for Holy Roman Emperor (and King of Bohemia) Charles IV, who founded the town in 1370. It is renowned for its curative waters that have supported a fashionable spa culture for several centuries.
About scenes and photos
Grandhotel Pupp turned into the Hotel Splendide in Montenegro. Upon arrival at the station in "Montenegro" James Bond travels to the Hotel Splendide /Grandhotel Pupp/.
In other footage Bond is in the reception area Grandhotel Pupp, in Grandrestaurant, the room in the First Class and one of the most dramatic scenes in the parking in front of hotel.
