Home to the Vaqueros of SBCC, this newly renovated stadium sits before the beautiful backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. What this stadium lacks in, well, just about everything, it makes up in incredibly beautiful views. The history of SBCC Football can be found at the college website. The greatest game played in La Playa Stadium was an 18-17 come-from-behind win in the WSC championship of 1969.

I was unable to find the opening or construction date for the stadium, but since the big game was in 1969, the opening data must have been earlier.
