The windmill on the road between Tharandt and Grumbach was the former water supply of Braunsdorf. The windmill was restored a few years ago because it was damaged at its main shaft by the storm 'Kyrill' in early 2007. Today, the windmill is a technical Monument. It is about 30m high.
