A stone panel near the top of the front facade has the date of construction, 1899. It is of late Victorian style with Italianate detailing on its lower front exterior which includes cast iron columns. Constructed of red brick it is two stories high with a flat roof.

The lower story housed the restaurant, while the upper floor was a two bedroom apartment that may have been used by the proprietor of the restaurant. Even though it has been used for a variety of commercial uses over the years it stills retains a high degree of its original integrity, particularly it Italianate storefront. Source
