This location is the site of the old north gate. Nothing remains of this now however a photo looking away from the site is to be found at Francis Frith photo web site

Francis Frith took photos all over england at the same spot over a large number of years. To prove your visit please snap an equivelent shot (looking down over st thomas hill)
