This junk design house at 114 Hayward St, Rochester, NY 14609 is a multi-discipline work of art. It's difficult to even know how to start describing it. Located near the Public Market, it is an easy detour, or a destination unto itself.

So, let's start with the default picture. The gate is an original work of art. Notice the words "imagine", "dream", and "love" welded on. Turn your attention to the stone and tile gate posts. Besides the address, you will find the phrase "life is art" on one post, and "Secret Lab" on the other. The lower portion of the fence is made up of discarded red sandstone curbing. The art in the raised garden outside the property is carved from the same red sandstone curbing, and the sides of the garden are a combination of broken/discarded sandstone and ordinary local rock. (Oops, you'll have to look at the next picture to see that.) Now look at the house itself. The cedar siding was laid in whimsical wavey lines!

Topping the stone fenceposts facing the Public Market are unique welded works of art, at least two of which are made from the legs of metal bedframes! It may be difficult to see from the pictures, but inside the fence, welded to the fence is a multi-sensory mousetrap! The bowling ball is raised to about 8 feet off the ground to a track, which strikes a bell (made from a propane tank, which reads "Tanks for..."... I forgot the rest), activates a pinwheel, spirals to the ground and crushes herbs before it comes to a rest.

Other artistic endeavors include blue bottle trees and a tower made from bamboo bowl chairs, and a few projects that are more difficult to describe.
