Meeting Waterfall Park (만남의 폭포) - Mokpo, Korea - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

Making use of the natural features of the bluff on this corner, a large waterfall has been created with a beautiful pool at the bottom. It is about 80 feet high ans stretches for about 150 feet. It is beautifully landscaped with rocks and pine trees and stands of bamboo around the pond. A tourist information center is located at the north end.

There is access to the bluff above from Memorial Park which is around the corner to the east, with a network of trails running north and south above the falls.

This location is on the corner of a busy intersection. Traffic going east heads into the main part of the port of Mokpo along the north of the harbor. Traffic heading south posses over the seawall toward in industrial area and the island of Jindo further south.

There are no open grassy ares or facilities for picnics and not much parking, so the designation of "Meeting Waterfall" may be in question.
