This concrete Guard tower, the base of the water tower, and few buildings are all that remains of what once held some 4000 German Officers during WW II. The original guard tower deteriorated over the years and this reconstruction looks as it did after being built by the German prisoners of war. The inside is not open to visitors. It is on Union Highway, north of Concordia, and a short distance from where the entrance to the camp was located.
