Giap Bat Bus Station is a large station found to the south of the centre of Hanoi, and deals with travel to the south of Hanoi. The station is busy, lots of buses coming and going, taxis, motorbikes, but only a handful of tourists.
There station consists of a long, rectangular building, ticketing and seats. Behind are where most of the buses park, though some use the front of the station. The station front has a large car parking area. The station looks old and worn, but is serviceable. A small amount of food and drink from a few vendors. For a long trip, I suggest bringing your own.
Part of the main building, a little north of the main entrance, is a clock tower. It is open in design, with three clock faces. Useful, but, unfortunately, the clock is not operation. Hopefully this will be correct in the future.
