The Union Pacific station now houses the National Orphan Train Museum which tells the story of the relocation of some 200,000 orphaned, abandoned, and homeless children to new homes throughout the United States. This clock was placed here by the son and only child of one of those young orphan train riders. His father's name was Robert Francis (Miles) Summers, and his and the other rider's stories make for a fascinating part of American history.
The clock is a free standing dark brown colored clock with two faces and a decorative top. The face is white with no inscriptions. The numerals are Arabic. There is an hour and a minute hand. A plaque is located at the base of the clock.
The plaque at the foot of the clock reads in part:

born March 9, 1891
St. Ann's Hospital, NY, NY
In 1895 (est.), he rode an orphan train
secured by the NY Foundling Hospital
to Lexington, Mo. and was taken by
the Summers family who sent Robert to
school and loved him as their own.
Approximately 1904, Robert and his family
moved to Chickasha, Ok. Indian Territory,
where he grew into adulthood and, in 1925,
married Effie Mae Dillard. Their son and only
child was 9 months old when Robert
died Oct. 15, 1927. He is buried in
Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, Ok.
