The curling stone is 1.8 metres in diameter and 1.4 metres high with the pedestal adding another 0.4 metres. From 1960 to 2005, this was the largest curling stone in the world. Arborg, Manitoba took over the title in 2005 with a 4.2 metres diameter Ginormous Curling Rock (
