Unusual design for the placement of the date at the top of this building. While the date itself is in the horizontal position, the "B and L" and "BLOCK" are placed on either side of the date at an angle. The original use of the building could not be determined, but at one time it was the Bon Marche Clothing Store. The building currently houses a mortuary, as well as a paint store.
