Liberec Lidové sady - cultural and community centre is located in the immediate proximity of the Liberec Zoo, in the borough of the same name.
The building containing Romanticism and Art Nouveau features was constructed by the builder Adolf Horn from Liberec according to the project by architect Jakob Schmeissner and ceremonially opened and put into operation in 1901. Balls, concerts, festivals, conferences and seminars, exhibitions and other cultural and social events are held In the premises of Lidové sady.
