Fiddlesticks Family Fun Park was a large 20-acre facility with a variety of family entertainment activities, including Go Karts, Laser Tag, Mini Golf, Driving Range, Bumper Boats, Arcade Games, Batting Cages and a Mini Fun Park for the youngest guests, which included jumping castles, a roller coaster and mini go karts.
Opened in late 1991, the park was closed in December 2011 after the property was sold to a developer, who is planning to build two- and three-story apartment buildings.
The sister facility, Funtasticks, is still active in Tucson, AZ and while the parent company, AMP, is planning to expand that location, they currently have no plans for a new facility here in the Phoenix area.
The original website is still online at http://www.fiddlesticksaz.com/ with the message "This location is permanently closed. Please visit Funtasticks in Tucson, AZ for family fun year round."
The park's review site on Yelp also confirms the site's previous existence and current status as closed: http://www.yelp.com/biz/fiddlesticks-family-fun-park-tempe
