This underground station has nothing to see above ground - no elevator winding house, no ticket office, no fancy building from the early 1900s. All that can be seen is a sign advising of the tube station and ramps and stairs leading down to it.

The entrances are around a large roundabout at the junction of Old Street, City Road and Old Great Eastern Road. The ramps and stairs lead to sub-road pedestrian tunnels that not only lead to the station but also act as subways as the roads above can be very busy and difficult to cross.

The Old Street tube station is on the Bank section of the Northern line and has Moorgate station at one side and Angel station at the other side.
Is there other puplic transportation in the area?: Yes

What level is the station?: Below street level
