The Mustang Drive-In is a twin screen drive-in located just ouside of Picton, ON. It was opened in Jun, 1956 as the Picton Drive-In, and changed its name to the Mustang in 1966.
It has been in continuous operation since its opening 56 years ago. In addition to modernizations in projection equipment and amenities, the Mustang still maintains the old-time drive-in charm, with grass drive-ups for up to 400 cars, and even some old in-car speakers (although there is an FM stereo system in place as well)!
The entrance to the drive-in contains some rather eclectic items amassed over 50+ years of operation, everything from a giant turtle to an old 70mm projector.
Here is a link to a a fascinating article on drive-ins, featuring the Mustang:

Mrs Jiggs and I first visited the drive-in here almost 25 years ago when we were still dating. Since then, we still find time to visit, sometimes with kids, sometimes without!
