Whilst most of St Mary’s Church is 18th and 19th century, the font is Norman. The font is circular in shape with a square base. The whole is mounted on four chamfered legs. There are badges at each corner of the base. On one corner is the badge of the Neville family, whilst on the other three corners are the badge of the Virgin Mary, the fleur de lys.
