This bolt (designated 847.97) is located on the north side of the Greenway Trail in the top of a bridge abutment spanning a small creek.

The bolt is located in in the northeast end of the north abutment, approximately 1.5 feet from the end of the abutment/7 feet below the level of the track. The bolt protrudes around a half-inch from the level of the concrete, with the letters “B” and “M” etched into the stone (which seems to be the style for these bolts along the Greenway Trail).

In addition, the bolt is located about 20 feet east from a U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey mark (PID=NB1311 / station designation=N131) which is located on the opposite end of the north abutment.

The bolt is obscured by the brush (it’s encroaching but isn’t growing “on top“ of the bolt at this time) , but it is in very good shape as is the monument it is set in.
