This utility box depicts the three monkeys known as "see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil." I'm not sure whether it's more significant that they're near a dive bar that opens at about 7 in the morning, or near a bank. If you ignore the monkeys' warning, you could get into trouble at either of those places :-)

The painting of utility boxes in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego is sponsored by the Mira Mesa Town Council (a volunteer/business organization) and has been spearheaded by the Mira Mesa High School art department. See (visit link) for more information.
