This "heavenly halfback" is performing some acrobatic feats with a huge football while on another panel of the utility box an angel looks on and is apparently sending him superpowers. Meanwhile, on a third panel, there's what appears to be an advertisement for the artist's studio.

The football player's uniform carries the name "Enosh," which is the signature on several other nearby painted utility boxes, and the style of the characters painted here matches that of some of those others. Notable is the signature "www.crevicecreeps.com", which seems to be the artist's commercial website.

The box is located between a middle-school athletic field and a community college campus, where there are a lot of sporting events held throughout the year.

The painting of utility boxes in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego is sponsored by the Mira Mesa Town Council (a volunteer/business organization) and has been spearheaded by the Mira Mesa High School art department. See (visit link) for more information.

There are photos of about 30 of the other Mira Mesa utility boxes, some with info about the artists, at (visit link) .
