Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery is an area of about 300 burials, located on N.W. 63rd Street, east of Coltrane. This cemetery has rolling land, is fairly treeless, and is well maintained. Just to the west, with no fencing separating there is another cemetery which is heavily treed and not as well maintained.

Edna's headstone is gray granite - an upright slab, resting on a horizontal base. A large granite urn sits on the left side. The stone has a light colored heart in the center with a banner reading "Love is Forever". The inscription in the heart reads:

Love is Forever

* Edna was born in Oklahoma Territory, five years before Oklahoma became a state.
* The Titanic sunk the year Edna was ten.
* She was 23 the year John T. Scopes was arrested for teaching evolution in Tennessee schools.
* When Pearl Harbor was bombed, Edna was 39.
* The U.S. began nuclear tests at the Nevada Test Site the year Edna became 49.
* When she was 60, Khruschchev ordered the withdrawl of misssiles from Cuba, ending the Cuban Missile Crisis.
* The year Edna passed away, Steve Fossett became the first person to fly solo around the world nonstop in a balloon.
