St Oswald’s Church was extensively rebuilt in the Victorian period, the stained glass windows dating to that reconstruction.
The East window is attributable to William Wailes of Newcastle. The window depicts St Michael, patron saint of Hubberholme, and St Oswald, patron saint of Arncliffe.
