Hester H. Aynes is buried at the Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery, located at the corner of E. Wilshire and N. Hiwassee.

Hers is a double red granite marker with a curved top and flower urns at either side. Their surname AYNES is engraved at the center top with individual panels at the lower left and right. Between their names and dates is a heart with the inscription "Married Dec. 1, 1920", with engraved roses. Hester's inscription reads:

* The Beatles first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show the year Hester was 67.
* Hester passed away on Ground Hog Day in 1998.
