Anna Finley was laid to rest in the Jones I.O.O.F. Cemetery, which is located at the intersection of E. Wilshire and Hiwassee Roads. This is a beautiful cemetery which is well maintained.

This is a gray granite headstone, with a vertical block resting on a horizontal base. Though it appears to be constructed as a double marker, hers is the only name inscribed. Her surname is engraved in large letters at the top center with her first name and dates in a smaller panel at the lower left. The inscription reads:

Aug. 20, 1899
Feb. 9, 2001

* Anna was born the same year aspirin was patented.
* She was eight years old when Oklahoma became a state.
* Anna was 22 the year of the first radio baseball broadcast.
* World War II began in Europe the year she was forty.
* Oklahoma ended prohibition when Anna was sixty.
* She was 80 years old the year of the Three-Mile Island nuclear power plant accident.
* The year before Anna passed away, the first crew arrived at the International Space Station.
