As it appears just looking at the sign, someone doesn't want you to go to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The sign indicates that Coeur d'Alene is to the left, using the left lane. It then indicates that there is no turning left.

All on one sign the no left turn is at the immediate intersection; where as the left turn, from the left lane to Coeur d'Alene is actually at the second intersection.
We noticed this funny turn of events while sitting at the red light at the intersection. Sort of a Shakespear case of "Turn Left or Not to Turn Left."
